The large .5 inch high character display shows the directory of the people in the building, and also displays directions and message prompts. A built in voice recorder can also provide a verbal message. If the EZ Access button is pressed, information on how to use the system is displayed and announced. The built in directory can handle up to 525 names and phone numbers. Once an apartment is selected, the AES-2000 dials the pre-programmed apartment phone number and provides two way communication. If the proper Touch Tone command is entered at the apartment phone, a door strike can be activated. The AES-2000 will also support keyless entry at the door via its built-in keypad, or by adding Wiegand-type proximity card readers, such as the Viking PRX-1. Why pay the premium of leased or dedicated phone lines?
The K-1900-5 will automatically dial a preprogrammed number, of up to 32 digits, whenever an associated telephone is taken off hook. Using nonvolatile E2 memory, the K-1900-5 is telephone line powered and will operate on any loop start central office line or analog PABX/KSU extension.
The K-1900-5 is easily programmed remotely or locally using a standard Touch Tone phone.
NOTE: This product does not eliminate the possibility of toll fraud! To further protect against fraudulent calls, use with a TR-1 Toll Restrictor (Fax Back Document 705).

Applications such as message announcement centers, voice dialers and auto attendants may easily be created to your custom specifications. The PB-100 accepts simple ASCII serial commands to seize the phone line, dial or decode DTMF Touch Tones, watch for busy signal, detect loop status, perform timed hook-switch flashes or hang-up the line. If your PC is equipped with a sound card, the audio ports can also be coupled to the phone line through the PB-100 for voice recording or playing announcements using standard file formats such as .wav files. The PB-100 hardware features a serial port interface, an “AUDIO IN” and “AUDIO OUT” port, an analog C.O. line interface and an analog phone port.
